As the Dewey Beach Lions Club continues its proud tradition of community service, our 2025 Charter Night was a powerful reminder of the heart and dedication behind everything we do.
This year’s celebration was packed with meaningful milestones:

Celebrating Outstanding Service – Dewey Beach Lions Awards 2025
We are proud to shine a spotlight on the following members whose contributions have made a lasting impact on our club and community.
Cindy Vincent – Key Award
Awarded for opening the door to Lionism by recruiting at least two new members. Cindy’s enthusiasm and outreach help ensure the future strength of our club.
Lisa Kniceley – Service Award
Recognized for tireless, behind-the-scenes support of major events including the annual golf tournament, community day, and Christmas activities over many years.
Jerry Hirst – Lion of the Year
Honored for over 13 years of unselfish service. Jerry has personally built more than 400 ramps, giving individuals life-changing access to their homes—regardless of rain, heat, or snow.
Zeke Przygocki – Presidential Award
Celebrated for his leadership as King Lion, serving two consecutive terms with commitment and vision for the future of the club.
Dennis Diehl – Life Membership Award
Presented in recognition of his long-standing, unwavering dedication to the Dewey Beach Lions. Dennis’s service has inspired generations of members.
